Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for developing commodity sourcing strategies and or program sourcing strategies.

  • Requires a blend of technical and business expertise as well as solid interpersonal and negotiation skills to contribute, lead, and manage at all organizational levels, both internally and externally. 
  • Contribute, lead, and manage cross-functional and cross-divisional teams to ensure timely achievement of milestones, effective supplier relationship management, and on-time delivery of high quality material goods and services at the lowest possible costs. 
  • These positions lead, co-ordinate, and manage supplier business reviews. 
  • They also support, lead, and manage the early involvement of key suppliers in our technology and NPI programs managing the sometimes conflicting technical and business challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Position requires a minimum of a BS Degree in a technical engineering field or equivalent; In addition, an MBA is preferred.
  • 5+ years’ relevant industry experience in supply chain management and technical sourcing, along with engineering, manufacturing or product development experience.
  • Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies that map to and support overall business strategies.
  • Ability to lead complex supplier relationships and negotiations.
  • Experience negotiating complex supplier agreements
  • Ability to develop and manage supplier business reviews and scorecards.

Responsibilities:
This position is designed to create a repeatable installation result under varying circumstances - delivering low cost, high quality installations/upgrades of KLA-Tencor products, while fulfilling requirements that gate Warranty Start and Revenue Recognition.

The general function of this job is to perform and/or ensure completion of all activities required to hand off a KLA-Tencor tool that meets or exceeds all criteria that was predefined by KLA-Tencor and the customer.
These activities will include, but not be limited to - site surveys, pre-installation, installation, troubleshooting, acceptance, training, and hand off of the product.
These activities will include, but not be limited to communication/interface/management with customers, sales, division engineering, local field service representatives, and manufacturing.
  • Manage Revenue Recognition and Warranty Start of newly purchased products.
  1. Hold Pre-Installation Meeting with the Customer to scope customer unique requirements.  Create Plans of Action to measure/confirm/satisfy unique needs. Execute Plans of Action and validate deliverables with customer
  2. Install Tool to meet KLA-Tencor Specs, through conformance testing according to procedures
  3. Troubleshoot complex system issues in a timely manner - using abstract thought, data analysis, 7-step problem solving methodology and other available tools - to repair/correct those issues and achieve compliance to KLA-Tencor specs and other customer requirements        
  4. Manage project escalations across customer, region, and various factory resources to meet committed customer milestones
  5. After conformance testing, meet with customer to facilitate Warranty Signoff through management of regional hand off, documentation of outstanding Warranty deliverables, and communication with customer/division
  • Achieve Cycle time/Cost targets through management of contributing factors (parts usage, cross-charges, escalation support, etc) 
  • Manage Customer Satisfaction through Pre-Activity Meeting, Routine Update Meeting, Escalation Meetings, Post-Activity Meeting, and Warranty Meeting 
  • Perform Install/Customer-focused Applications testing to approve Operational Quality of tool 
  • Document Installation Non-conformance through a remote database management system 
  • Communicate installation status through daily pass down and web-based reporting systems 
  • Provide Training in operation/maintenance of tool to Install Engineers, Region Engineers, and Customers
Preferred Qualifications:

This is part of KLA-Tencor's Global Internal Audit Group.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a well-rounded, versatile audit professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills to join our team. We are a team that strives for continuous improvement. The individual will be able to solve problems independently with latitude for initiative and judgment.
  • Primary function in SOX 404 compliance, business and IT areas.
  • Supervise and review testing and documentation performed by others.
  • Establish project guidelines, actively monitor progress, and escalate as necessary.
  • Design the control environment by critically assessing processes, identifying the potential risks, and articulating the financial statement implications.
  • Coordinate with managers in other functional areas to address findings by developing and implementing practical solutions.
  • Communicate results via written reports and oral presentations to management.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors.
  • Pursue professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and shares information gained with co-workers.

Preferred Qualification:
  • At least 8 years of experience in SOX/audit.
  • Bachelors Level Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Candidate must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to solve complex problems with creative solutions.
  • Solid understanding of accounting, processes, and internal controls.
  • Considerable verbal and written communication skills, including interviewing, presentation of findings and recommendations.
  • Attention to detail, quality of work.
  • Strong ability to partner and build relationships with internal clients.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, perform under time pressure.
  • Advocate and implement process improvements.
  • Big 4 experience and CPA preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience

Master's Level Degree or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience

NPI Manufacturing Design Engineer (Optics) ( Pro-E | Solid works) (# 114798)

Responsibilities:
We are looking for an Optical Engineer, with previous experience in design and manufacturing support, to take responsibility of driving new systems into production and serve as a technical focal for design engineering teams, vendor issues, and production support in order to bring new products to market . In addition the role includes addressing design & production issues, leading activities to support production continuity, new product introduction  etc.- writing and managing product and process files, specifications, design reviews, Jigs and BOMs., performing process and spec validations, handling manufacturing projects – key contributor for Operations excellence! This position will be based in US (Milpitas, CA), with overseas travel of 40% (mainly to Israel).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS in Optical Engineering
  • 4 years of experience in Design/NPI/Integration/Production of multidisciplinary systems
  • Previous experience in semiconductor industry – an advantage
  • Experienced in hands on problem resolving
  • Pro-E, Solid works experience- advantage
  • English language proficiency

Minimum Qualifications:
Doctorate (Academic)

Refurbishment Engineer (# 115283)

Position: Refurbishment Engineer

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the complete refurbishment of KLA-Tencor's BBP (23XX and 28XX) models that includes the installation of selectable options and features. Installation experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
BPP Manufacturing O/I, F/I experience. Good system level understanding and extensive troubleshooting skills.

Manufacturing Design Engineer (# 115250)

Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Engineer will work on problems of diverse scope in support of manufacturing, new production introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement projects (CIP). The position requires a working knowledge of design and manufacturing methods, procedures and cost reduction techniques.
Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining manufacturing methods and processes in the assembly and test of systems. Must be able to develop the required documentation to support processes and provide training to technicians. Must be able to effectively implement changes through the organization's engineering change process. Interfaces with hardware, software and applications engineering in coordinating and effecting the support of products. Provides support to Spares Manufacturing operations and field through expert knowledge of system and effective and timely communication.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A strong background in semiconductor equipment systems build and troubleshooting, design verification
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Must be able to generate and maintain concise documentation required for Manufacturing
  • Must be self-motivated, self-directed, and a methodical problem-solver
  • Must be able to set priorities appropriate to a variety of situations and to achieve quality results
  • Must be a collaborative team player. Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time
Additional Desired Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with KLA-Tencor AIT or RAPID series tools is desired
  • Hands-on troubleshooting of complex dynamic mechanical systems (i.e. robots, floating stages) on semiconductor capital equipment in a clean room environment
  • Efficient problem-solving and statistical analysis
  • Knowledge of engineering change order (ECO) and formal documentation processes
  • Use of standard MS Office Programs
  • Must be willing to be in clean room suit
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience.
